Summary
As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for smart, energetic and motivated individuals to join our field marketing team as Offline Marketer / Merchant Onboarder.
As an Offline Marketer at Wakafoods, you will be at the forefront of expanding our vendor network.
Your primary job will be to visit food businesses, introduce them to the Wakafoods platform and onboard them as active vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential food vendors, restaurants, street food vendors, home kitchens, wine stores, confectioners and introduce them to Wakafoods.
Educate merchants on the benefits of partnering with Wakafoods and how the platform can help grow their customer base and sales.
**Guide and assist merchants through the onboarding process — from registration to menu upload.
**Communicate with interested vendors to ensure complete registration and menu setup.
**Achieve weekly and monthly merchant sign-up goals.
**Collect feedback from vendors and relay it to the operations team for continuous platform improvements.
**Represent Wakafoods at field events, vendor meetings, and local food business clusters.
**Collaborate with marketing and support teams to ensure merchant satisfaction post-onboarding.**
Requirements
Minimum OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field and 2-5 years of work experience.
Experience in field marketing, sales, or customer relationship management is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Keen on meeting new people and building lasting business relationships.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Strong understanding of local food business trends and dynamics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to work.
